Friends of Corona

"Some give freely, yet grow all the richer still; others withhold what is due and only suffer want.

A generous person will be enriched and one who gives water will get water."-Proverbs 11:24-25

Welcome Friends of Corona

Dear Friend,

If you are reading this letter you are one of many thousands of souls who have come through the doors of Corona Presbyterian Church on your journey through life. We consider you a friend of Corona and we hope your memories are good ones like ours have been. A lot has happened since you were here but our mission hasn't changed. We are still serving the heart of the City of Denver to the ends of the earth.

The purpose of this letter is to ask for your help. The Corona neighborhood needs to hear the Gospel now more than ever. As Paul said; "For creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed" Romans 8:19. Our Trustee's pick up the needles from drug users in the alley behind the church, we feed and provide shelter for the homeless women of Denver and we provide food and other necessities to the low-income housing residents at Franconia apartments. We reach out  to young adults and young families through a variety of programs and our commitment to foreign missions is as strong as ever.

We have been convicted that God has great plans for Corona. We still have work to do to share his love, but our challenge is to get through the next few years until the seeds we have planted are given time to grow our congregation. Until then we need financial support to help sustain our initiatives. Here's how you can help.

First, you can donate whatever God leads you to give in a variety of ways. You can send a check to our address, you can contribute by debit or credit card by clicking here, or you can contribute through our Friends of Corona fundraising site at

Second, please help us spread the word. Reach out and contact 10 people who you know would be interested in hearing the Corona story. Let them know how to connect with us and our fundraising options. For us, Corona has always been our spiritual home, I  suspect it may be for you and your Friends and  family as well. Let's reconnect them with what is happening at 8th and Downing.

Finally, please keep Corona in your prayers. The faithful here will appreciate it as will all those that benefit from Corona's heart for serving Denver and the World.

In Christ,

Steve Bock, Missions Elder
